Membership
Full Membership of the club is open to all current and retired members of HM Forces and their families, (You don't have to be based at Marham!). People in this category qualify for full flying membership at the lowest cost. Full Membership costs £60 per annum or £5 per month for Cpls and below and £120 year or £10 per annum for all other ranks and ex-military. In addition to this, all service members are required to join the Sports Lottery - this means that the club benefits from a variety of good deals, not least access to Adventurous Training funding.
Associate membership is for Civilian Membership of the club and attracts all the same benefits as Full Membership. Associate Membership costs £120 per year or £10 per month.
Reciprocal Membership is for those personnel who are already members of a RAFFCA flying club who wish to take advantage of the facilities at Marham. Just fill in the form, Reciprocal Membership is free! This form of membership is also open to military members of the Fenland Gliding Club who wish to undertake occasional flying with us.
Temporary Membership is available to those who are only at Marham for a short time. It is available for periods of one to 5 months and is charged pro rata at the relevant rate.
Social Membership is for those who want to take advantage of our unusual position as a a flying club located on a busy military fast-jet base, but do not intend to learn to fly or act as pilot of one of our aircraft. Social membership costs £60 per year.
Finally, Passenger Membership is required for insurance purposes, for everyone who is not currently a member of the club but who wishes to fly in our aircraft. The good news is that passenger membership is absolutely free and lasts indefinitely! Just fill in the form and leave it in the Ops room.
If members opt to pay the fees monthly, they should contact their bank to set up a standing order. The clubs bank details are available on the membership form.

RAFFCA
The Royal Air Force Flying Clubs Association was created in 2002 to bring together the flying clubs of the RAF and to negotiate some seriously good deals on their behalf. All members of the Marham Aero Club (except passengers) are automatically given membership of RAFFCA when they join. Membership of RAFFCA entitles you to use any RAF flying club and its facilities and it entitles you to take advantage of substantial discounts at companies like Transair. If you need some books, charts or a headset, you will save your £3 in a blink as discounts of 25% are not uncommon.
In addition, RAFFCA distributes substantial funds to the flying clubs each year. This money will be used to help fund our club's participation in competitive flying at venues all round the UK and abroard. Finally, membership of RAFFCA also confers membership to AOPA and the British Rally Flying Club.
